Welcome to Anitri Art House. I am a Mumbai-based artist who started pursuing my passion to bring Indian art forms into daily life. I am a self-learned artist and am particularly fond of traditional Indian art forms such as Madhubani, Gond, Warli and Saura.

I am currently adapting various art styles to make personalised gifting items across everyday items like trays, jewellery boxes and other home decor items. I also make personalised cards and paintings to celebrate life's milestones like a birthday, an anniversary or even an unforgettable trip with family and friends.

Commission an art work

Some of the most meaningful art is the kind made just for you. Whether it's a memory you want to hold onto, a gift that goes beyond the ordinary, or a piece of art that truly belongs in your space I'd love to create something personal, handcrafted, and uniquely yours.

What I can create for you

From a favourite travel memory painted in Madhubani, or a set of greeting cards in a specfic theme or just some magic words that inspire a fond memory. If it matters to you, I can find a way to bring it to life using the rich vocabulary of Indian folk art.

Popular commissions include milestones dates, travel and holiday memories, wedding and anniversary gifts, home décor pieces like trays and jewellery boxes, and personalised cards for birthdays or special occasions.

How it works

1. Tell me your idea. Share what you have in mind it could be a photo, a memory, a feeling, or even just a vague idea. There are no wrong answers at this stage.

2. We figure it out together. I'll suggest the art style, size, and medium that would suit your idea best, and share a quote. Most commissions are completed within 2 to 3 weeks.

3. You approve before I begin. Once we agree on the concept and price, I'll collect a 50% advance and get started. You'll get progress updates along the way.

4. Your painting arrives. The finished piece is carefully packaged and shipped to you, framed or unframed as you prefer.

Pricing

Custom paintings start from ₹2,500 for small pieces and cards, and vary based on size, complexity, and medium. I'll always give you a clear quote before any work begins no surprises.

The Story behind Anitri Art House

Creativity was always in the family, I just took the long way round to find it.

I spent over a decade in analytics, moving between Delhi, Bangalore, London and Mumbai. Life was numbers and structured data, and art felt like someone else's world.

Then came my two lovely daughters, and with them, a rediscovery. We'd spend afternoons drawing, painting, stitching, moulding, just the three of us, making things for the joy of it. Somewhere in those quiet, colourful hours, something in me came alive again.

I fell in love with Indian folk art the intricate storytelling of Madhubani, the bold lines of Gond, the earthy rhythms of Saura and Warli. These are centuries-old traditions, full of magic, and I felt compelled to bring them into everyday life.

That's what Anitri Art House is a little corner where ancient art forms meet modern homes, made entirely by hand, and made with love. Everything here is 100% handmade. I hope it brings as much joy to your home as it brings me to create it.
